Southern Line Pump provides concrete line pumping services to customers in the middle TN area. We strive to maintain a clean and safe work environment while focusing on getting the job done in a professional, timely manner. We work one on one with contractors, businesses, and customers to make the process as smooth as possible. We use 2.5" hoses with up 375ft of hoses available to get the concrete to those areas that the concrete truck is unable to reach. Terms and Agreement

Rental Agreement

1. Company is not responsible for any type of damage done to property while on premises of jobsite.

2. Company is not responsible for any delays including those caused by improper scheduling of trucks, change in gradation of aggregate or incorrect batching of concrete. Company is not responsible for arriving to the jobsite late due to unforeseen circumstances including weather, traffic, or acts of nature.

3. Company is solely leasing equipment with operator. Company is not responsible for any persons on the jobsite getting hurt or damaged during the concrete pumping operation.

4. Operator will make every effort to place material when, where, and how customer designates, but company is not responsible and is not liable for any damage or loss sustained by customer or any third party due to mechanical failure, equipment breakdown or improper placing of material.

5. A rental rate stated on this agreement is for the rental of the equipment noted and the provision of a qualified operator. Yardage charge is for the rental of miscellaneous piping consumed by the lessee during the course of operation for the rented equipment.

6. Customer agrees to pay all charges on or before 10 days after invoice is received. If payment is not received by day 30 after invoice was sent to Customer, a 25% of total billed charge will be incurred. Should payment remain outstanding outside the company’s payment terms, the customer is liable for all recovery costs including legal costs (on solicitors/own client basis), court filing fees and credit agency recovery fees and commissions and mercantile agent fees incurred by the company in recovering the amount outstanding. The client also accepts it will be liable for interest at the rate +5% on all outstanding debts.

7. Customer agrees to supply all materials necessary for the pour including the correct aggregate for line pumping purposes. Company has the right of refusal of any incorrect aggregate being poured into the concrete pump.

8. Customer shall be responsible for compliance with the building (Safety, Health and Welfare) Regulations and with all other Governmental, Local authority and other regulations for the time being in force relation to the works carried out by him.

9. The Customer’s attention is drawn to the fact that the Company requires up to sixty minutes at the beginning and end of a pumping operation to set up, derig, wash out and prepare for travel. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

(a) The Customer shall be prepared to allow the pump to arrive on site up to sixty minutes before it is ready to operate and to allow it to go off site up 60 sixty minutes after it has ceased to operate; this period will be charged for at the working rate. Any circumstances beyond operator control that causes late departure would be at customer expense at normal working rate.

10. Customer agrees to perform all work necessary to remove waste concrete from the work site and the equipment of Company. Company is not responsible for any waste concrete left on the jobsite.

11. Customer shall provide access roads to the work site and a work site adequate to accommodate the equipment of the Company. Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to Customer’s failure to provide such access roads or job site conditions. In the event the Company’s equipment becomes stuck at the work site, customer shall pay all cost incidents to freeing the Company’s equipment.

12. In the event Company’s equipment or parts become damaged by Customer or its contractors, Customer agrees to pay for repairs or replacement, if necessary, of all parts and/or equipment as well as Company could have earned with said equipment during the repair time.

13. In the event Company brings any action of any kind to enforce the terms of this agreement, Customer agrees to pay in addition to the cost and disbursement provided by law, reasonable attorney’s fee to be fixed by the court in which such action is brought. In the event any provision of this agreement is declared invalid, such provision shall be deemed severable from the remaining provisions of this agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect. Venue for any action brought pursuant to this agreement shall be in Rutherford County, TN.

14. Additional fees if applicable- $150 chargeback, bank reject, or returned check fee.

$300 Cancellation fee (24 hr notice required). $300 re-scheduling fee if company arrives at jobsite and customer is not ready for pumping services. Additional fees may apply beyond invoice balance such as merchant services processing and taxes.
